Day 11: Dear Meat, Welcome Back!

Today, 2 new food categories were introduced back into my diet:  unsweetened soy, almond or coconut milk and unprocessed turkey or fish.  I can honestly say that I did not miss meat as much as I thought I would.  I've really enjoyed the one on one time with my fruits and veggies.  Today's food choices:

Breakfast: Cheerios with almond mik and slices of banana.

Mid Morning Snack:  Homemade apple chips. Check out the recipe here.  I baked these last night and they were very crispy but this morning they somehow lost their crunch but I ate a few anyway.  Note to self: next time eat immediately!

Lunch:  Amy's Organic Black Eyed Peas Brown Rice and Veggies Bowl - this was really good even the mushrooms who I now have a new found love for.  Fooducate (an app that grades your food) even gave the bowl an A, which was surprising with it being a boxed meal. 

Dinner:  Salmon, roasted asparagus and potatoes.  My favorite fish, it was very delish!  Ok, bye!
