Virtual Dermatology Visit

Unless, we're really close (or you've witnessed it melt off while working out), then you've probably never seen me without makeup.  I almost NEVER EVER leave home without at least a little foundation and concealer to even things up a bit.  For the past year or so, I've been on a quest to find the perfect diet, product or regime that will give me a more even complexion and also get rid of this new adult acne mess.

Today I had a telemedicine visit with my dermatologist and we discussed a few things that may give me the boost I need as well as supplement what I've already been doing.  As a melanin-rich person, my skin tends to be a little more reactive and susceptible to blemishes.  I have a few spots of discoloration caused by hyper-pigmentation (face and elbows), melasma (face) and seborrhia (scalp and face).

Currently, I'm using Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar and the Super C Brightening Serum (recommended by Mid Day Skin). I also recently ordered Clear Skin Cleansing Bar and Clear & Even Tone Clarifying Glycolic Pads.  Here's my 20% off link if you like to try these out >> YES I WANT 20% OFF!!

My doctor and I talked about a couple of prescription strength products but he also highly recommended AMBI® Fade Cream because of the depigmenting agent, hydroquinone.

Do you suffer from skin issues? Have you tried any of these?  What are your staple products?  I'd love to know.

...until next time!
