So, I got a little carried away this morning....literally. My first hot air balloon ride was amazing! Here are 5W’s about this weekend’s Hot Air Balloon event:
What: 2019 Red River Balloon Rally - Home of the U.S. Southeast Regional Balloon Championship Race
When: Friday, July 12th and Saturday, July 13th from 5pm - 11pm
Where: LSU Shreveport
Why: Hot air balloon race, musicians, food, specialty vendors, children’s rides, tethered balloon rides, fireworks and a spectacular balloon glow to finish the night. ($250/hr private rides, ask for the “splash and dash” must reserved in advance)
How: Admission is $10, Parking is $5
