Drop That Beet, In a Juicer That Is!

I've read the pros and cons of consuming beet juice.  The good stuff is it helps lower blood pressure, relaxes blood vessels and even helps whip cancer's a$$.  The cons include beeturia (making stool and urine have a pink or red color), kidney stones and vocal cord problems.  Granted all these are based on consumption.  I'm only having a glass so I'll presume that I'm safe from harm.

I was afraid to drink the beet juice alone as I've read that its very potent, so I sweeten the flavor by adding some other fruits.  I juiced: 1 beet, 1 cup of pineapple and 1 pacific rose apple.  I traveled my concoction to work, so I ended up adding a few ice cubes to chill it a bit and it was delish!  The flavor was strong and it made my mouth pink, we shall see if anything else "comes out" pink!  Haha!
