
Late post, but I meant to talk about the guest bartender at the Louisiana Food Prize dinner Wednesday night. Charlie of the bar chord whipped up two featured cocktails for the evening. I indulged in the Watermelon Picosita - watermelon and jalapeño infused tequila, orange liqueur, agave & lime. This sweet and spicy number had a kick to it! That spice kung fu chopped the back of my throat and I loved it.

I also had the other featured drink, the Cucumber Mojito - muddled cucumber, mint, agave, lime and soda. Forgot to get pictures of him making that one. It was good also, a not too sweet, refreshing taste with chunks of cucumber. Mmmm! Both drinks were phenomenal! Will definitely go check them out! Here are a few photos:
