Scrumptous Shrimp Sausage & Vegetable Pasta


I freestyled on this recipe, feel free to make adjustments to fit your palate's needs.  Enjoy!

1 box dried pasta (I used rigatoni)
1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli florets
1 cup asparagus (washed & chopped into 1 inch pieces, about 5 to 6 spears)
1/2 lb shrimp (seasoned, I used Tony Chachere)
1/2 lb smoked sausage (sliced I used Down Home)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Ok here we go...

1.   Cook pasta according to package directions.  Add broccoli for last 5 minutes of cooking time.  Drain and set aside.

2.  Cook sausage for 5 to 7 minutes, add shrimp and asparagus and cook until desired tenderness.

3. Combine soup, milk, cheese, black pepper (to taste), heat and stir until desired consistency is achieved.  Add pasta mixture.  Mix well, simmer and serve.
