The Carl's Jr. Experience

I ordered The Original Six Dollar Burger® Charbroiled meal with 100% Black Angus Beef Patty, Lettuce, Two Slices of Tomato, Red Onions, Pickles, Mayonnaise and Ketchup on a Toasted Sesame Seed, Natural Cut French Fries and a Medium Drink.

The Burger: Comparable to Burger King as far as taste but definitely NOT the service, Carl's Jr. has the King beat by ions in the customer service department, but I won't be surprised if this fads after the newness wears off. The patty was very flavorful. There was just enough mayo and ketchup to give the burger a not too messy juiciness, lettuce, onion, tomato and topped off with a sesame seed bun. I give it an A.

The Fries: Comparable, actually almost identical to Wendy's Natural Cut Fries but whoever was on fry duty today was absolutely too heavy handed with the salt to the point that I ended up trashing them. The fries get a B- because of the salt issue.

The Experience: The one thing that I really like about Carl's Jr., is that they really had indecisive fast fooders like myself in mind when deciding to place 2 full menu boards at the drive-thru; one to preview while waiting to be next in line and one at the speaker where you place your order. Love that idea. Other than plenty of burger choices, they have a lot of other menu choices ranging from salads, chicken sandwiches and strips, ice cream, chili cheese fries (these were not good) and even turkey burgers. I give the overall experience a B, I'll definitely be going back.
