I'll take 5 please!!! Nevermind that I wasn't even 18, had no job or bank account information. Until the last card was declined, my friends and I shopped and ate pretty dog on good!
After being harassed by the creditors, that summer, I did the responsible thing, got a job and attempted to pay off my debt. Making minimum wage which was $5.15/hr, I eagerly awaited my hard earned part-time check. It was a whooping $120 which I cashed, divided by 5 and mailed to their appropriate creditors. I spent the rest of my summer working, dividing by 5 and DEPRESSED, realizing the mess I'd gotten myself into all behind free calling cards, tshirts, candy and NOT so free money on these little plastic cards.
