No Eating Out - Day 1


Anything you want done right should start with a good plan and plenty preparation. Exactly what I didn't have when I challenged myself to not eating out for a week. Being that I have not gone to the grocery store in a while, might present more problems to staying faithful to my challenge than I thought. So, needless to say I'm not doing to well today, but I'm making due with what I've got.

Here's what's been on today's menu:

Breakfast: 2 slices of honey ham and a cup of office coffee
Lunch: a nearly freezer burnt philly cheese steak hot pocket, a bottle of water and a slice of chocolate cake that someone brought to work
Dinner: TBD, but I MUST go to the store because I plan on cooking!!! Yay!

It's not been easy, I really missed my drive-thru buddies today but I am determined to give the fast food up! I even downloaded the Whole Foods Market app on my iPhone for good healthy ideas for dinner. See? I'm serious about this! It lets you narrow down the recipies the course, category and if there is any special diet (I'm going to browse through it and see what looks tasty. You should try it, pretty cool app.
