TaTa Twenty Ten!

Well, the curtains are finally closing and 2010, as you make your exit stage left, I bid you farewell. You have truly been a year and an ending of a decade to remember. Thank you for giving me many memorable challenges, changes and events that have taught me countless life lessons while forcing me to grow into the woman, mother and wife that I am today.

I said in last year's post that "like hearts, resolutions are meant to be broken" and that held true for me. In 2009, I resolved to use NO as a complete sentence...#epic fail! At 31, I am still learning that I dont owe people an explanation, but I'm working on it. I also resloved to be punctual, uhmm yeah, I tried really hard on this one, but you know, $hit happens! LOL! Am I the only one that cant follow a resolution through?!? This year I am carrying over 2009's resolution and adding a few. Hopefully this time next year I'll be able to give positive feedback.

For 2011, I resolve to:
-Use no as a complete sentence. No! (just practicing, lol)
-Being punctual, actually let's make that early for events. I'm pushing it, I know.
-Becoming more physically and financially fit.
-Cooking more and not eating out so much <---will be tough, but doable.

At the end of the day, in this case year, I am equally thankful for the good and the bad that this decade has brought me because after all, I made it! As the saying goes, "that what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" and I can honestly say that I'm a stronger person today that I was back in January. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me in the year to come. Are you? Here's to BIGGER and BETTER blessings in 2011!
