love is blind. that is until love moves in with you and your things are now OUR things. making the big move to cohabitation is a BIG eye opener. in your world everything has its place, but in your siggy's (significant other) world, every place has its thing. these minor details can literally drive you insane, especially you OCD neat freaks, like myself, LOL!
it could be a simple as where you keep the ketchup. technically, it doesn't say 'refrigerate after opening' on the bottle, but that's how it was done in your household as a kid and so shall it be done that way in your household as an adult, right? wrong, siggy keeps it in the pantry . who wins that one?
as petty as it seems, simple things like: sharing the remote/tv, how your siggy hangs the toilet tissue and how to divide the closet can cause some of the silliest most serious arguments. but at the end of the day those things wont matter because being in a relationship begets your willingness to compromise. and that's truly the beauty of it all...loving someone enough to redefine something that you knew as the gospel to accommodate your mate.
so who cares if they have to microwave their ketchup to eat with those fries? at least there is ketchup!
