Spanx, but no Spanx

I thankfully got the opportunity to go out amongst the mingling crowd this past weekend, and could not believe my eyes! The outfits were cute and fashionably pleasing but there was something definitely wrong with some the the dresses that attended the event that night. No, the dresses weren't too short or too tight but they were however, a bit TOO revealing. No, its not the kind of revealing you think I'm referring to. I'm not one of those people who roll their eyes at cleavage or cringe at a little (or a lot) of leg...its the humps and bumps, bulges and rolls under those dresses that were too revealing. My thing is this, if you want to wear a skin tight dress (or the likeness thereof) and may not have the skin tight type body (or the likeness thereof) for that skin tight dress...that's ok, just take the proper steps in fooling the masses, i.e. Spanx, girdle, shapewear...you get my drift. Not choosing to do so, in my opinion, takes away from your outfit, leaving everyone's eyes counting booty dimples, watching bouncing stomachs and totally missing the fierceness that you wanted to pull off. We can all thank Oprah for putting Spanx on the map, but I know that Spanx can be a bit costly. I am a self professed, frugal fashionista on a budget and will confess that I have opted to not go the Spanx route and found a sweeter deal by Sweet Nothings for under $15 found at Wal-Mart. So no excuses ladies!!

Now, moving on to.....((drum roll please)).....visible panty lines...ba dum bum! Come on ladies, like I mentioned earlier there are waaaaay too many options out there for us to still witness this evil sight. If you aren't bold enough to go commando (I'm not) then get the proper under garments that will give the illusion of smoothness...you owe it to your bum and all your bum admirers. Trust me, they're watching!
